D K Castellucci or Denise Kristina is an artist in Marin County, California where she lives with her husband and teenage son.
Denise started her passion for the arts at a young age starting with sketching and oil painting. Then, as she entered her teens and into her early twenties, she got into theater arts. This included being a part of a Theater troupe in San Francisco that performed
"Crimes of the Heart" and "The Shadow Box." Theater arts gave way to computer graphics and art using early versions of Adobe Photoshop and Macromind Director. During this time, she became involved in an experimental project of early interactive television via 21st Century Vaudeville in the Early 90s.
She then got involved with web design and content creation, adoption reform, and adoptee rights activism. In 1998, Denise Castellucci was named on of the Top 25 Most Influential Women on the Web and was a Webby Award Judge. She went back to college to get a Political Science degree and a minor in British and American Literature.
Denise has worked in various industries including restaurant business, telecommunications, web design and marketing, IT/Computer training, Non-Profit management, Commercial Real Estate Data, Press Relations, and Financial Services. One of her favorite jobs was working at Rainbow Records back in 1984 and 1985.
